Dear Parents,

Thank you for our first successful YES day of the year, we couldn’t have done it without you!  Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help with the book fair next week.  We have almost every opening filled, but we will always take extra hands if you would like to come and help and are available!

Don’t forget Parent Teacher Conferences this week. We would love each child to attend with his/her parent, and are excited to meet and talk about your child’s progress so far! Please make sure you are on time for your conferences, as each teacher’s schedule is very tight. Don’t forget that there is no school on Friday, October 1 because of conferences and no school on Thursday, September 30 for Mrs. Hathorn’s class only.

The Region PTA is sponsoring a fun art night. We hope your family signs up to participate for this unique opportunity. There is more information on the attached flyer.  It coincides perfectly with Reflections which is due Monday, October 4.  We would love to get as many submissions as possible as time is running out!

The PTA and school have some fun events planned for October. Please see the side bar of upcoming events and save the dates to join us!

We have 3 jackets turned into the Lost and Found.  Please claim them before they are taken to Goodwill.

Keep up the good work Leopards!

Weekend Food Backpacks, Operation School Bell and Shoes That Fit

Sometimes we all use some help. Liberty participates in three programs to help our families that  need a little support.  Participation last year does NOT automatically enroll for this year!  Please email cralston@murrayschools.org if you’d like to registered for any of the following programs:

  • Weekend Food Backpacks:  Kids Eat program provides backpacks for students to take home on Friday.  The backpacks have shelf stable food that most children like and can prepare themselves.
  • Shoes that Fit:  Provides new shoes to school age children.
  • Operation School Bell:  Provides a new winter coat, as well as a pair of pants and shirt to elementary school age children.
