The Murray School District Board of Education met to review our learning options and voted to approve an adjustment to the daily bell schedule for 2020-2021. This new bell schedule will begin October 26 (the beginning of Term 2). The pandemic nature of our situation, coupled with the extended flexibility given to parents and students, necessitates that we equip our teachers more time to create closer connections with all students, and particularly those who are struggling.
The board considered many different scenarios and options, all of which were a direct result of feedback from families and teachers. Unfortunately, none of them were wrapped in a bow of broad consensus. Each was tagged with a myriad of pros and cons that are complex.
But we believe this difficult decision will yield a measure of relief to teachers thus expanding their capacity to provide a quality education for ALL students. Below you will find our adjusted bell schedule that begins the first day of the Second Term, October 26.

Morning Kindergarten: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:35 am – 11:10 am
Morning Kindergarten: Wednesday: 8:35 am – 10:30 am
Afternoon Kindergarten: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:45 pm – 2:15 pm
Afternoon Kindergarten: Wednesday: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
All Day Kindergarten: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:35 am – 2:15 pm
